Visiting the Sensory Room in Boyarka — hope, progress, and gratitude
A few days ago, Liliya Podkopayeva, Olympic champion and founder of the Health of Generations Foundation, visited the Sensory Room at the Kyiv Regional Children's Hospital in Boyarka — a space created thanks to the support of EkoMarket and hundreds of caring people.
During the visit, Liliya met children undergoing rehabilitation. Their parents, with tears in their eyes, shared how their kids are finally showing real progress — the most precious reward for everyone involved.
Doctors here work with extraordinary dedication, using every piece of equipment to its fullest potential. The sensory room helps children with anxiety, neurological disorders, developmental disabilities, and trauma — those whose childhood is shaped by the reality of war.
It’s a place where they learn to overcome stress, improve coordination, perception, and emotional balance.
