For more than two decades, Liliya Podkopayeva has dedicated her energy and influence to helping children grow strong, healthy, and confident.
What began as support for young athletes has evolved into a lifelong mission of care and compassion — one that continues through Health of Generations today.
Now
Health of Generations works together with volunteers and partners to help children in Ukraine recover, learn, and dream again. Every project — from rebuilding safe spaces to providing basic needs — is a step toward restoring childhood and hope.
2022
Now based in Atlanta, Liliya establishes the Health of Generations Charity Foundation in response to the humanitarian crisis caused by the war in Ukraine — continuing her lifelong mission to protect and support children.
2010
The Foundation launches “Healthy Move”, a social and educational program encouraging children in orphanages to stay active, believe in themselves, and pursue a healthy lifestyle.
2009
Receives the Order of Princess Olga for her personal contribution to strengthening Ukrainian society and promoting social and humanitarian values.
2008
On International Children’s Day, initiates the “Stars for Children” project through the Liliya Podkopayeva International Foundation, aimed at helping vulnerable children across Ukraine.
2007
Launches the annual “SOS Compassion” campaign on World AIDS Day as part of her UNAIDS ambassador activities — uniting public figures to support children and families affected by HIV/AIDS.
2006
She begins collaboration with UNICEF and other international organizations, focusing on children’s rights, education, and well-being across Ukraine.
2005
Liliya becomes a UNAIDS Goodwill Ambassador, raising awareness about health, compassion, and inclusion.
2002
Liliya Podkopayeva organizes the international tournament “Golden Lily” to support young Ukrainian athletes and promote a healthy lifestyle among youth. The tournament becomes an annual tradition.
