According to UNDP, nine out of 10 Ukrainians could face poverty and extreme economic vulnerability if the war drags on. And the most vulnerable group of population is the elderly. As of today, the minimum pension by age is less than 100 USD per month in Ukraine which makes it hardly possible to buy even the most necessary.

“Health of Generations”

Liliya Podkopayeva, the President of the Charity Foundation “Health of Generations”, is a former Ukrainian artistic gymnast and was a world and Olympic all-around champion back in the 90’s. From the first day of the outrageous russian attack on her native country, Lilia has worked hard to help Ukrainians, focusing on the most vulnerable groups of population – children and the elderly.

“After the end of my sports career, I have been involved in charitable projects all my life, being a UNAIDS and UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador. I cannot stand aside now when my fellow citizens are being killed by the russian war machine. My main priority is family, I am a mother of three children, therefore targeted assistance to Ukrainian children and the elderly is my contribution to the victory of Ukraine.”
